Das Bild, das der Idee zugrunde liegt, ist ein verblühender Baum, an dem noch eine letzte Blüte hängt (Kette), während die restlichen Blütenblätter schon auf die Auffahrt heruntergefallen sind (Armband).
Ein erwähnenswertes Detail ist das grüne Lederfutter im Armband. Hierbei handelt es sich um super weiches Handschuhleder aus dem Atelier meiner Urgroßmutter Marie Samú, Kürschnerin und Hutmacherin Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts in Berlin!
The vision behind this design is a withering tree with one last blossom at one of its twigs (necklace) while all the other petals have already fallen down on the driveway (bracelet).
I’d like to especially mention the soft green glove leather that I used for the bracelet’s backing. It originates from the studio of my great-grandma Marie Samú, who was a furrier and milliner in the early 1900s in Berlin.
